Mother’s Day (parts I and II)
We spent Mother’s Day in NJ with my family, putting together a system for a container garden so my parents can still have a garden even though they aren’t allowed to plant anything in the grass. Unfortunately we forgot our camera, but my parents sent a few pictures of the key moments.
The next weekend (actually, Monday and Tuesday of the following week), we were on Long Island, celebrating a belated Mother’s Day with Frank’s parents and his sisters and their families. On Tuesday we went out to the eastern tip of Long Island (the north fork) and had afternoon tea at a cute tea shop and tasted wine at one of the Long Island wineries.
